Cactus Fruit

This wonderful cactus called Opuntia, also known as "prickly pear" is growing everywhere in Murcia at the moment. I once made the mistake of picking one and didn´t realize that it has tiny hairlike spines called glochids. I was picking them out of my fingers for days afterwards!
