Beautiful architecture. I had to look up both the Samuel Beckett bridge and it's companion the James Joyce Bridge. They must be like huge sculptures against the skyline.

It's a quite stunning bridge Stevie, and yes, the James Joyce bridge further upstream is by the same Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava (I am a big fan!).
The Beckett bridge is supposed to resemble a Harp, the iconic Irish musical instrument.

This bridge masterpiece certainly resembles a harp! I almost want to strum it.

To me it has a feel of a swans neck, It is very elegant, almost feminine.:)
