My walk through Grafton Street on Sunday reminded me of a lovely ballad called Raglan Road. It was written by one of our best known poets Patrick Kavanagh and is sung here by the late Luke Kelly who was a member of The Dubliner's folk group. It is one of my favourite ballads.
Yes, it is lovely. I have a cassette recording of the Dubliners with me, but my cassette player died a while ago. I must gather up a collection of favourite music from home again. I'm enjoying listening to this, I have your blog open again on my computer so I can listen uninterruptedly..really, coming here is like a virtual visit to Dublin...
