Grattan Bridge connects Capel Street on Dublin's northside with Parliament Street on the southside. Formerly Essex Bridge, it was rebuilt in 1874 and renamed after the Irish Parliamentarian Henry Grattan. This photograph shows one of the beautiful ornate lamp standards in cast-iron that adorn the bridge.
Looking downstream you can see the Milennium Bridge next and then the Ha'penny Bridge. Liberty Hall is the tall building on the left.
On the left side of the river you can see the Liffey Boardwalk. Immediately on the right side above the yellow Bus is U2's Clarence Hotel.
(The man in the blue & white T-shirt walked into my shot, but I think he lends a nice bit of colour to the photo)
