The Ha'penny Bridge is a cast-iron pedestrian bridge that spans the river Liffey(an Life). It is probably the most photographed bridge in Dublin - Ireland even! Originally a toll bridge, where the toll was a Half Penny, hence "Ha'penny Bridge", it was completely rebuilt in recent years using the original materials where possible.
In this photograph the tall building at the back is the Irish Central Bank which was designed by the controversial architect Sam Stephenson (d. 2006).
