I've heard if Cavan Town ... it looks worthy of a visit.

That's an interesting "standing stone" sculpture in the middle of the square. Do you know why it's there?
The stone structure is a modern version of what is known as Megalithic Art as far as I could make out Stevie. There was a festival on in Cavan and everybody around the square was either a tourist or Polish, but I will enquire next time I am back there.
