The Central Bank of Ireland

The Central Bank of Ireland building on Dublin's Dame Street was designed by the controversial architect Sam Stephenson.
When I took this photograph there was a demonstration taking place in front of the bank in support of civil marriage rights for gay and lesbian people.

Hi :)

Lovely photo!

What are these people going to achieve by this protest?

I liked the shape of the autoricksha in front of the building.

Have a nice day :)

Thanks for your comment Joseph! Street protests like this one are very common in Dublin. Do they achieve anything? Who knows.
The "autoricksha's" are sponsored by a soft-drinks company and are free of charge within city centre areas. The drivers boost their income by receiving "tips" from the public.
