It's Postcard Friendsip Friday time once more! This quaint postbox is built into the high wall which surrounds the Phoenix Park. It's at the Chapelizod Gate entrance to the park and is a post- independence box (i.e. built after 1922). (Post-independence - haha, Iam glad I managed to squeeze that one in!)

Nothing like that where I live either.
The curved stone wall and beaut of a letterbox make for quite a stunning capture! I didn't know that they had double decker buses in Ireland! Cool:) happy PFF Con!

Snap! Well, nearly. A blue bus? I've always remembered them as green.
Howdy Con
Happy PFF to you ,that was great the way you slipped in the added information .
I really like the photo of the bus too .

Thank you for sharing today.
Have a marvelous weekend.
Happy Trails
so cute! where are you? Ireland? Happy PFF!
Happy PFF everybody from Dublin, Ireland. You are right Sheila - the buses used to be green in Dublin but they changed the color scheme a few years ago.
There is a very nice postcard from the 60's of O'Connell Street with buses and cars(including an Austin A40). I will try to find it for a future PFF.
How fun!
