I'm not a great lover of modern churches but that one at least has some character.

The 'beauty' of the Glasnevin church, like many buildings, depends on your perspective. As a home owner on Mobhi Drive directly across the Tolka from the church its a blight that blocks the view of the Dublin mountains and as a perishioner it is a pracitical problem to keep heated or cooled. It replaced the very modest but greatly loved "woodener" and hopefully will shortly reach its use-by date.
