When visiting the Czech Republic this week of course I was on the look out for their Post Boxes. I read in my guide that they were colored orange and eventually I found this one. Cute, isn't it!
Perfect for Postcard Friendship Friday which is hosted by the lovely Marie at Vintage Verve. Make sure to zoom over to her place and join in the fun.

For a beautiful city like Prague, the letterboxes seem very simple. Your pictures of the city are wonderful! One of these days I'll get there - it's not beyond the bounds of possibility.
I was in Prague in July! Such a beautiful city (and great beer!) But I never noticed the post boxes.
That design is really modern looking compared to ones in other countries.
The boxes are fairly nondescript, and I actually had to go looking to find one. They are quite small and only I had read they were colored orange I probably would not have found one.
Loved the beers - I am lucky that there is a Czech bar in Dublin, so I was already familiar with them. Staropramen is my favorite.
Ah yes, and I can even read - and understand - the text on the mail box.;))
Making puppets is a very traditional art in Czech republic and the puppet theater very popular.
