if we think about the same guy Im pretty sure he's polish. next time just ask:)
I like them. Did you buy one to take home. I once bought a huge witch puppet in Austria. Carrying it home was very difficult, almost wished the broomstick was real.
We have Kathputhli puppets from Rajasthan in India which somewhat resemble these...
