Even on a dull November day I was delighted to find a few bright colors hiding in Malahide.
The French soccer team played Ireland in Dublin on Saturday and there were large numbers of French people, who had obviously come over for the match strolling around the the village. It made me wonder what is it about this place - first the Vikings, then the Danes, the Normans and now the French! Actually the Normans originally came from France as well, so maybe this was new invasion?

It was once a village by the sea, but not anymore - part of Dublin now!
