Oh I do wish to go to Dublin someday. I live in Dublin, Ohio so that's as close as I've gotten so far.

I imagine your Dublin and my Dublin are very different Michelle. Presumably though there is a connection? (Are residents there known as "Dubs"?)
Will check your Blog for views of your Dublin.
Love that song "Banks of the Ohio" by Olivia Newton John!

Hola que tal, I visited Dublin once and 'll never forget the energy of the city. Everywhere there were building sites and immigrants from all over the world. Really loved rhis and the combination with the great museums, the old university, the many pubs and the dubs themselves. Thanks for sharing your experiences there. Greetings from Amsterdam.

I don't suppose the Lakeview is still there? I doubt whether it could be. My grandmother used to have a shop/café on the seafront there almost opposite the bridge over to Bull Island - many years ago....

I will check if your grandmothers place is still there Sheila next time I visit Bull Island.
