Also as distracting as they are..
they do occasionally spend money
and help the economy in these tough
times. Though I know students don't
spend as much as 'older' tourists..
unless it is for beer... ;-))

We don't have a culture of chatting on the streets in Ireland. I was constantly being told to be quiet when I was moving around the city chatting away with friends and family because because I'm quite the chatterbox. My husband is constantly telling me to be quiet too when we're moving about. That's why I ended up writing Blogaire! Sheer desperation, that's what!

This made me laugh, as I can imagine the clashes in the culture, the easy going, happy and loud Southerns and us, the withdrawn, quiet, moody Northerners.;)) I see it here too.;)) But I guess our differences is what attracts us to each other in the first place.;))
