Treacy's is located in the shadow of one of the country's most famous forts, the Rock of Dunamaise, once the stronghold of the great O'Moore clan of Laois.
Established since 1780 on the Great Heath of Portlaoise, Treacy's is the oldest pub in Ireland in the same family name. One of Ireland's best known landmarks, the thatched premises is situated just off the main Dublin to Cork/Limerick road(M7)
