Sallin's is a small village on the banks of the Grand Canal, about 40 minutes from Dublin in County Kildare. There are just a few Pubs, Restaurants and Shops there but the Canal is just wonderful and there are some lovely Barges moored there, some of them being used as living accommodation. The village is surrounded by housing estates so it's usually quite busy there, yet so peaceful.
Nice house boats. It would be fun to take a little overnight trip on one.
